Robert Myles (Bob)

He was a Trainer and Assessor for our club, National Trainer and Assessor for Lifesaving, Trainer and Assessor for Pool Lifeguarding, Chair of Felixstowe Beach Lifeguard Club and Honorary Secretary for RLSS Suffolk Branch. Before his illness, Bob was an active member of our Club Committee, ensuring we kept on top of all new developments in life saving and showing his creativity by producing all our Club posters and adverts (including the fantastic banner now displayed on poolside). Since his illness began, Bob carried on as a trainer for the Higher Awards class as much as he could, and was an assessor for the Life Support 3 exams. He is sorely missed and our thoughts remain with his family and friends and all who knew him.
